(Choose one of the following color combos, or create your own)

Plum eyeshadow and lavender eyeshadow

Dark smoky blue eyeshadow and shimmery gold eyeshadow

Dark gray eyeshadow and shimmery silver eyeshadow

Eye primer or a nude eyeshadow

Blending brush

Eyeliner brush

Dark brown or black mascara

Nude lipgloss

Glam Plan:

Step One: Decide which area you want to use the darker color on. Using the darker shade on the top and the lighter color on the bottom creates a more dramatic look, while using the light color on top and the dark shade on the bottom helps to make the eye area look more open from a distance. However, using a darker color on the bottom can also emphasize any dark undereye circles, so just be aware of this before you decide which way to go.

Step Two: Apply either a light dusting of your nude shadow or your eye primer to your eyelid to create a base for your colored shadow. Now take your blending brush and sweep your chosen eyelid color over the top of your lid and into your crease. Wing the edges of the shadow out slightly at the corners to create a glamorous cat-eye effect.

Step Three: Use your eyeliner brush to apply the other vivid eyeshadow shade just along your lower lash line, don’t wing this shadow out past your natural lash line. If you’re using the darker shadow on top you shouldn’t need any eyeliner, but if you’re using the darker shade on the bottom you can use this shadow to very lightly line your upper lashes if you’d like.

Step Four: Apply either dark brown or black mascara depending on which shadow color combo you’ve gone with, slick on some nude lipgloss to finish the look, and you’re ready for a bold night out!
